Saul Bass

Saul Bass's wonderfully warm illustrations from 'Henri's Walk To Paris' come to mind on this sunny August day. Half a century after it was first published it is now being printed by Rizzoli and is available on Amazon. This was the only children's book that Saul (super hero graphic designer and film maker) illustrated but oh what a visual treat it is. I could eat it!

Images have been sourced from La Pequeña ciudad de P. and Creativegirl.

I love Saul Bass, I'd seen the first image before but didn't know it was from a book - it's gone straight to the top of my wishlist! Thanks for sharing. Rachel :)
